We are looking for dedicated, organized, and creative individuals to support the Austin17House in its event efforts during the year! Members of the Event Committee include those in marketing, fundraising, event planning, or connections to day of volunteers.
This committee will consist of members who have professional experience in fundraising efforts, financial accounting/advising, grant writing and other human relations.. The members of this committee will have strong relationships within our communities and are confident in their ability to ask for annual donations
Seeking dedicated and motivated individuals for After School Tutor positions to assist middle and high school-aged youth with homework and Virtual Learning Academy (VLACS) course support. Looking for Educators, college students, and college graduates majoring in education.
Seeking a dedicated Music Mentor to teach youth the basics of music, as well as intermediate and professional skills. Take advantage of our music, band room and professional equipment. Help young musicians grow their talents, creativity, and confidence in a supportive environment.
Seeking a dynamic mentor to inspire and teach youth about the art of sewing, fashion design, and essential life skills! Join us in helping young people express their creativity while learning valuable skills like budgeting and personal styling. If you're ready to make a difference and share your passion in our fully equipped sewing room, we want to hear from you!
Looking for a talented Art Mentor to guide youth in exploring their artistic abilities at all skill levels!
Join us in fostering creativity and self-expression in our well-equipped art studio. Help young artists develop their unique styles and gain confidence through a variety of engaging projects.

The heart of Austin17House can be found in the volunteers who serve as mentors to the youngsters, teaching them life skills and helping them explore their talents and interests.
